Being true to our authentic self

Meet Caspian and Dexter, our sweet minature horses.

Caspian and Dexter are 8 and 9 year old brothers. Being minature horses, they have similar traits and behaviours to larger horses. We can learn plenty from observing these boys -- about how to be seen and heard, how to respect other's boundaries, and how to be accepting. They whinny if left alone in the paddock, and knicker when food is coming. They know that their herd leader Chase will share his food, and respect that our other herd member Tex will not. Dexter is courageous, Caspian cautious. There is no judgement about differences in the herd, they simply “are”.

Do we feel we need to change our authentic selves to fit into the herd?
