Supporting NDIS Participants in
Building Capacity and Community
What is Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)?
Equine Assisted Learning is a structured, evidence-informed approach to social-emotional learning and psychoeducation. Participants engage in individually tailored, ground-based activities with horses designed to build essential life skills such as emotional regulation, communication, confidence, independence and relationship skills—essential foundations for everyday life and community participation.
These sessions are goal-directed, documented, and delivered by trained professionals in a calm, natural setting. The presence of horses enhances engagement and supports participants in accessing learning through relational, sensory, and experiential modalities.

Our Approach
Person-Centred: We work with you to design sessions that support your individual NDIS plan goals.
Strengths-Based: Focus on building on what’s already strong and capable within you.
Trauma-Informed: A predictable environment with gentle, attuned support.
Non-Riding Program: All activities are ground-based—no horse riding involved. This allows participants to build a genuine relationship with the horse — based on trust, communication, and mutual respect, rather than focusing on riding skills.
